• Eligibility is limited to full-time sophomores, juniors, and new transfer students enrolled at UCI.
• The program is available to all majors.
• Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at UCI throughout their involvement with the program.
• If your financial aid award summary from the UCI Financial Aid office indicates a "parent contribution" over $10,000 you probably do not qualify for this program.  Students must qualify for a significant level of financial aid.
• UCI will identify talented students based upon academic merit and financial need through a rigorous application and interview process. Finalists will interview with sponsoring companies. The final selection of a SAGE Scholar is made by the sponsoring company.
• Applicants must make a minimum two-year commitment with the sponsoring company (changes can be requested if the first year assignment is not a good fit)
• To participate in the program, you must currently be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status (a "green card") in the U.S.
