SAGE Scholars Mentoring

Strong mentoring is a critical component of the SAGE Scholars Program because many SAGE Scholars are first-generation college students and are working in a professional setting for the first time.

Sponsoring companies and non-profit organizations assign a mentor to each SAGE Scholar. Each mentor can offer helpful career advice and monitor the intern's progress at the company. In addition, SAGE Scholars have access to mentors from the Paul Merage School of Business, SAGE alumni, or other individuals through the UC Irvine network.
